I hate Hollywood for remakes that suck

There is a movie coming out in a few weeks. December 22nd to be exact. Here is the synopsis.

When a C-119 cargo plane full of oil workers crashes in Mongolia's Gobi Desert during a sandstorm, the survivors attempt to build a new plane from the parts they find in the wreckage to escape.

Yes, it is "Flight of The Phoenix". I guess the 1965 version with Jimmy Stewart wasn't good enough?

Hollywood is indeed out of ideas. I wonder what child prodigy thought up the idea to remake possibly one of the best movies ever made.

Kofi Roll me Over

It seems that Kofi was sad to see his son using the U.N. for illegal reasons.

Secretary-General Kofi Annan said Monday he was "very disappointed and surprised" that his son had continued to receive payments until this February from a firm that had a contract with Iraq's oil-for-food program, the subject of numerous corruption investigations.

Annan told reporters that he had been working on the understanding that payments to his son, Kojo Annan, from the Swiss-based firm Cotecna Inspection S.A. stopped in 1998 "and I had not expected that the relationship continued."

But on Friday, U.N. spokesman Fred Eckhard said Kojo Annan's lawyer had informed the independent panel appointed by the secretary-general to investigate allegations of corruption in the oil-for-food program that the younger Annan continued to receive monthly

And if you were reading the news at all in the most recent weeks you will see that France was involved as was Germany.

Lets do some basic deductive reasoning. No need for Sherlock Holmes here. France, Germany, and the U.N. were getting kickbacks from Iraq. They opposed freeing Iraq (thus negating their kickbacks).

Anyone still want to defer to these assholes?

I didn't think so.

There is absolutely nothing going on

There is nothing of newsworthyness in the news today. I guess that is good news. As the saying goes "No Gnews is Good Gnews".

My back hurts. I was lifting and lugging Christmas trees all weekend. Freezing my ass off while risking electrocution on Sunday.

Sunday it rained 3 inches and half the farm was flooded. For once the pain in the ass customers didn't come in.

Long time readers may remember this, but for everyone else. Read This

I hate California

Sometimes I wish the big one would come. 12.0 on the Richter scale and while out the whole state of California.

This makes me wish it was sooner than later.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A California teacher has been barred by his school from giving students documents from American history that refer to God -- including the Declaration of Independence.

Steven Williams, a fifth-grade teacher at Stevens Creek School in the San Francisco Bay area suburb of Cupertino, sued for discrimination on Monday, claiming he had been singled out for censorship by principal Patricia Vidmar because he is a Christian.

"It's a fact of American history that our founders were religious men, and to hide this fact from young fifth-graders in the name of political correctness is outrageous and shameful," said Williams' attorney, Terry Thompson.

I guess the Bill of Rights is questionable too.

Back in Black

Well, the lefties are running out of ways to make themselves look like total morons. First there was the Vomit protests; lefties literally broke into places and threw up to protest the war. They broke into President Bush's campaign headquaters, stole signs, and put out all these stupid movies.

Now in a final act of defiance of a losing side, they are pushing their Turn Your Backs On Bush innaugural spectatular!

We're calling on people to attend inauguration without protest signs, shirts or stickers. Once through security and at the procession, at a given signal, we'll all turn our backs on Bush's motorcade and continue through his speech and swearing in. A simple, clear and coherent message.

How about my form of protest. It's called www.bashahippyskull.com. On a given day. A bunch of God fearing, USA loving Americans will go out with baseball bats and beat up hippies. They shouldn't be hard to find. Just follow the smell.

Rally for a New Job

Man, the liberal anti-American cartoonists are a gift that keeps on giving.

American hating liberal Ted Rall was dropped from washingtonpost.com according to Editor and Publisher.

WashingtonPost.com is no longer running the cartoons of hard-hitting liberal Ted Rall.

Rall said he thinks the site dropped his work because of a Nov. 4 cartoon he did showing a drooling, mentally handicapped student taking over a classroom. "The idea was to draw an analogy to the electorate -- in essence, the idiots are now running the country," he told E&P.

"That cartoon certainly drew a significant amount of negative comment from our users," said WashingtonPost.com Executive Editor Doug Feaver when contacted by E&P. But he added that the decision to drop Rall was a "cumulative" one that had been building for a while.

Well, I am not one of those who would call for his firing. I think asshats like this have every right to spew their venom. And if the election of 2004 shows anything, their airing their "opinions" will even further weaken thair cause.

Mammy's little baby loves shortnin shortnin

In another disgusting show of Liberalism and how liberals are racist, take a look at this totally disgusting cartoon.

davies.gif
From Slate's Matt Davies

I like it how liberals talk about doing everything to get African-Americans out of poverty and ahead in life. But that is all it is. Just talk. It is the modern Democratic party that is the racist group which is holding many African-Americans down.

They throw entitlements at them, and talk about working for equality, but when an African-American gets ahead (especially if they are conservative and didn't rely on their lies and handouts) they are referred to as parrots, mammys, wearing black faces, and being Neanderthals. That Neanderthal comment came from the senior senator from Massasschuttes. I guess we know HE isn't a Neanderthal. Afterall, Neanderthals couldn't swim.

It's CBS, so it must be true

Granted, some of the things that Fred Barnako at CBS Market Watch says below is true. Most of who reads blogs are bloggers, but that doesn't mean this new form of alternate media is a non-entity

WASHINGTON (CBS.MW) -- No one reads blogs.

Oops! I did it again. Better get under my desk before the e-mail flames arrive.

But when the most popular political blog draws less than 270,000 visitors on Election Day, you've got to ask, "What's the point?" (More traffic reports below.)

"How dare you say such a thing?" "What about the 4 million blogs Technorati is tracking?" "What about the fact that 11 months ago RSS was a geek secret and now it's a bolt-on to My Yahoo?" "What about the 100 million page impressions a month Blogads.com says it delivers?"

All that may be true. It's just that after the presidential election, it appears to me that the only readers of blogs ... are bloggers! They are a good group. Educated and engaged. But they're also like mice in a rotating cage: running in place, bumping into the same old people.

Despite all the anti-Bush screeds on Web logs, the frequent priming of wordy bonfires with Bush's National Guard duty records, the rush to judgment about missing explosives in Iraq ... it just didn't matter. All those opinions. All that Internet buzz. So little impact. Could it be not even bloggers trust what they read on blogs?

. . .Bottom line: Political blogging is like Ralph Nader. Nobody pays attention.

Hmmm....No one pays attention? Who was it that unearthed the lies told by your co-worker, Dan Rather, regarding the memos? Hmm. Was it you? No, I forget. Oh, now I remember. It was a blog. It was Little Green Footballs

And people like you are the same people who said that Foxnews will never beat the other cable networks (see ratings) and that this little thing called CNN would never be legitimate (look at the first Gulf War).

Maybe you should insert "CBS News" after the phrase "Nobody watches" instead.

Meanwhile at Democratic Underground

Over at Democratic Underground, the American hating left continues to spit venom. This time they are after the Marines who are fighting the war on terror.

First it comes from this Reuters story.

FALLUJA, Iraq (Reuters) - U.S. Marines rallied round a comrade under investigation for killing a wounded Iraqi during the offensive in Falluja, saying he was probably under combat stress in unpredictable, hair-trigger circumstances.

Marines interviewed on Tuesday said they didn't see the shooting as a scandal, rather the act of a comrade who faced intense pressure during the effort to quell the insurgency in the city.

"I can see why he would do it. He was probably running around being shot at for days on end in Falluja. There should be an investigation but they should look into the circumstances," said Lance Corporal Christopher Hanson.

"I would have shot the insurgent too. Two shots to the head," said Sergeant Nicholas Graham, 24, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. "You can't trust these people. He should not be investigated. He did nothing wrong.

I agree. These people don't play fair. The put up white flags of truce, and then have snipers pick off our boys from the towers of mosques. They booby trap their dead and otherwise don't play by regular rules of war.

Add to the fact that these are the same type of assholes who flew planes into the World Trade Center

But the American hating left don't see it that way. They see our boys at fault.

And then a user named bowens43 writes

The cicumstances are irrelevent. He shot an unarmed man who was lying on the floor. He should be prosecuted like the criminal that he is. These marines are fucking animals.

"Fucking animals"? These are the people who put their life on their line for this country. These Marines are stamped from the same mold as the brave souls who died in WW II so you can continue to hate America.

And if that previous one didn't prove they hate America, read this one:

What was that about how "all it takes for evil to grow, is for good men to do nothing", well evil has revealed itself and good people have done nothing.

The US is not the light of the world, it's the bringer of darkness.

I think I've said enough.

I want lovin from my dum dum dummy (otherwise known as Democrats.com)

Well, over at Democrats dot Com they are on Stolen Election 2004 watch, with this overly hopeful post about getting votes so Kerry can still win the election.

If you assume, for the sake of argument, that Kerry receives 80 percent of the 130,000 provisional ballots most observers expect will be validated... Kerry would receive 104,000 votes and President Bush would get 26,000.  That's a net gain for John Kerry of 78,000.  At that point, the margin between President Bush and Senator Kerry would drop to 58,000 votes.

Now, let's assume a preference can be determined on all 93,000 spoiled ballots.  And let's also assume John Kerry receives 80% and President Bush receives 20%.  John Kerry would receive 74,400 votes and President Bush would receive 18,600 votes.  That's another net gain for John Kerry of 55,800.  However, that still  leaves John Kerry 3,000 votes short.

They just can't take it can they. They lost. They suck and Republicans are sexier, smarter, and gosh darnit; people like us more.

Michael Moore Calls the Republican

My local paper, The Republican and Herald has a section where people can call in, and have their short, pithy, and often retarded comments posted.

In today's paper, it appears that Michael Moore has called in, judging by the ignorance, hypocrisy, and general hatred for America in the comment.

Now that President Bush has won the election, when are we and Sen. Santorum going to reward the religious right by changing the name of our country to the Christian United States of America? Are they going to change the name of the Republican Party to the Taliban? No, sorry, that name is taken. When will they make women were [sic] burkas? We live in a democracy. When will Bush and other learn that we don't want a Christian theocracy

Yes you liberal idiot. This is a democracy. And the Red side has won. Your side not only lost, but after sacking your quarterback we went after his mother too. Then we stole some candy from a baby and burned down a mosque. We also burned the constitution while no one was looking.

Bush won by more than 3 million votes. He received 60,000,000 votes and has a clear mandate. The sheer fact that you can't come to terms shows that you cannot accept reality.

So I also guess your idea of democracy is that the election only counts if YOUR side wins?

Arafat: Euthenized

A point I would like to make is that Arafat was euthenized. He probably had a treatable illness, and if the terrorist was sent to a first world country like the United States for treatment, he'd still be selling bombs to children.

But instead he was sent to France. France, where their socialist utopia lead to ten thousand dead Frenchies during a heatwave, sending the world market for frog legs and Jerry Lewis DVDs in a downward spiral.

You see, a socialist health system like in France, just can't cope with minor problems like a sweaty brow, nor can they properly treat whatever ailed the ditry bastard named Arafat.

Gee, for once I am glad for socialism.

JokePaTerno

It appears that even God wants Joe Paterno to hang it up. So far the Nittany Lions are 2-7.

On the morning of the game, Paterno tried to move a crucifix on a high shelf in his den and forgot how heavy the object was. He lost control of it and the crucifix clipped the side of his head as it fell to the ground.

He said 11 stitches were needed to close the wound.

"I am lucky I didn't get killed," Paterno said.

Lucky for him, but not for the program.

More Democratic Hate Speech

As the Liberals continue to become unhinged, they are throwing bombs. And unlike a wounded animal that is most dangerous when mortally wounded, the liberals actually manage to stab themselves in the stomach while floundering around trying to damage middle-Amerca.

And if you know anything about stomach wounds, you know that they lead to slow, painful, and inevitable death.

Read Moreen Dowd in the Old Grey Hag (Formerly known as the Old York Times)

You will also find this in Webster's dictionary under "hate speech"

While Mr. Bush was making his little speech about reaching out, Republicans said they had "the green light" to pursue their conservative agenda, like drilling in Alaska's wilderness and rewriting the tax code.

"He'll be a lot more aggressive in Iraq now," one Bush insider predicts. "He'll raze Falluja if he has to. He feels that the election results endorsed his version of the war." Never mind that the more insurgents American troops kill, the more they create.

Just listen to Dick (Oh, lordy, is this cuckoo clock still vice president?) Cheney, introducing the Man for his victory speech: "This has been a consequential presidency which has revitalized our economy and reasserted a confident American role in the world." Well, it has revitalized the Halliburton segment of the economy, anyhow. And "confident" is not the first word that comes to mind for the foreign policy of a country that has alienated everyone except Fiji.

Vice continued, "Now we move forward to serve and to guard the country we love." Only Dick Cheney can make "to serve and to guard" sound like "to rape and to pillage."

He's creating the sort of "democracy" he likes. One party controls all power in the country. One network serves as state TV. One nation dominates the world as a hyperpower. One firm controls contracts in Iraq.

A little bitter heh?

Well that is to be expected. They are stupid LOSERS, and actions like that make me want to continue rubbing their big LOSS into their faces, sullen with LOSS!!

HAHAHAHA

Boston, we have a problem

After the big victory for President Bush, and the gains in the House and Senate, even the most ignorant of Liberals (Dan Rather) has to admit that the Democrats are the minority party. The weaker of the bunch. The runt of the litter.

I've heard it said that a lot of it can be traced back to the "Reagain Revolution" and the inspiration he gave many. People my age and slightly older are a major democgraphic group that voted for Bush, and their opinions were built by the Great Communicator.

Now there is another generation whose political beliefs and ideals are being founded by George Bush. People who are in their mid-teens how and are just becoming adults are seeing a strong President and a strong America.

What's going to happen in 12-20 years when they are the new demographic of this country?

Bob Herbert Hates Americans

As I mentioned earlier, Liberals think you are stupid. We are stupid for voting for the dumb jackass, George W. Bush.

Read what Bob Herbert has to say in the Old York Times

I think a case could be made that ignorance played at least as big a role in the election's outcome as values. A recent survey by the Program on International Policy Attitudes at the University of Maryland found that nearly 70 percent of President Bush's supporters believe the U.S. has come up with "clear evidence" that Saddam Hussein was working closely with Al Qaeda. A third of the president's supporters believe weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq. And more than a third believe that a substantial majority of world opinion supported the U.S.-led invasion.

This is scary. How do you make a rational political pitch to people who have put that part of their brain on hold? No wonder Bush won.

What about these people. Or these genuises?

Why is it that despite a clear victory in the election, and after calling for unity, it's the Democrats who are resorting to name calling and vitriol. These New York Liberal elite just don't get America. And they see that as us being retarded and unenlightened.

Democracy Sucks

I am unveiling a new category today in my blog. The new category will highlight how much liberals really hate his fine country of ours and will do anything to apologize for terrorists and countries like France.

I guess in the eyes of many Democracy is something that liberals have to apologize for. The people of America have spoken, and the terrorists who want us dead need to be coddled by the American hating hippy left.

Why democrats suck

I found this interesting article about the disconnect between big, rich, urbal liberals, and "back home" conservatives.

Basically the liberal elite who run the Democratic party just don't get us out here in middle America. This is different than day to day liberals across the USA, they have different views all together and probably are closer to the ideology of Bill Clinton.

Real Time with Billly Boy Mahr

Boy, the faces were sullen last night on HBO's Real Time with Bill Mahr. His guests included D.L. Hughley, Noam Chomsky, and political opportunist Andrew Sullivan. So much for a true token conservative.

It really upset me that Professor Chomsky is such an American hater. What disturbs me more is that when he said America is guilty of war crimes for invading Iraq and that the whole Bush administration should be carted off to Nuremberg style war crimes tribunals, there were a good number of audience people who applauded loudly.

To fully understand Noam Chomsky's hatred of this country, you should read this article.

And one thing that I found last night is that the left doesn't get why their ideas are summarily rejected. Articles like this one is Slate are both insulting to Real America, and yet asking for acceptance.

How can you expect to have people on your side while first insulting the morals, traditions, and values they hold dear and then saying our side is morally superior to you. In essence: "come to our side your ignorant fool and see true light."

I'm not saying I truly understand liberals, nor do I think they understand many conservatives. But if they want to talk me into taking their position, I don't really appreciate being told I must due so because my ideas are for stupid rednecks with guns, I want to be convinced on the merit of their argument.

I guess it all comes down to the fact that they don't understand why we don't like people like Michael Moore, Noam Chomsky, and others who attack something so important to us, and something that makes up the fabric of who we are.

On second thought, this one is better.

I have been reading some editorials in college newspapers and other news sources and most of the libs are angry and defiant. They are writing letters apologizing to the French and the Arabs. Like I give two shits about what they think about us.

And until then, all Bush voters should go here for a fun time.

One thing I'd like to point out is that Democratic Underground seems to be off-line. Maybe they are having "server trouble".

What I would like to know is what is going to happen to sites like MoveOn, DU, and to radio shows like Radio Air America whose purposes where just to get Bush defeated.

They failed.

What will happen to Terry McAwful? I guess he doesn't do a good job because under his 4 years of running the DNC they are much much worse.

Bush Wins

Well, it appears that Bush has won. He is up in Ohio, New Mexico, and Iowa as of this writing. Most votes have been counted in those states and according to the popular vote, Present Bush has received 51% of the vote.

You read right. He is a majority President.

And still the left wing machine spins.

The good news: America is a divided nation. Despite the pundit hand-wringing over this fact, it is a positive thing. Nearly-- nearly--half of the electorate rejected Bush's leadership, his agenda, his priorities, his falsehoods.

That is calling the cup half full. Nearly half can be put another way. Less than half, the minority, the losing side.

On the strong coattails of President Bush, Tom Daschle has lost his re-election bid, we have gained seats in both the House and Senate.

Despte this clear mandate the Kerry folks seem bent on sendting this game into extra quarter. It would be if the Superbowl was being won by a team 21-9, but goes into extra time based on an instant replay to see if the last second Hail Mary was successful. Too little too late.

Game over.

And now for something completely different

According to a popular Penn State Football Blog Penn State coach Joe Paterno expressed rage at being asked by Harrisburg Patriot's Bob Flounders question about possibly being fired for a 2-6 season to-date

Flounders asked Paterno if he thinks he deserves to be back as coach next season with the team at 2-6, yadda, yadda, yadda... you know the piling negatives by now. Paterno responded with expected hostility and the bullying tactics that have become common during the team's downward spiral.

"I don't appreciate that question. After 55 years in coaching I don't deserve to be asked that question."

Maybe after the first losing season in 2000 you didn't deserve to be asked that question, maybe after 2001, and possibly following 2003 (not likely). But after the team clinched its fourth losing season in five years with a setback at Ohio State Saturday, you deserve to be asked that question.

What an asshole.

Strike Force: Team Kerry

Well, it's early. 2:30 in the afternoon here. The first batch of exit polls shows that Kerry is within striking distance. And everyone is freakin out.
Ace of Spades puts it in perspective. and tells you why these numbers are pure bullshit.

Election 2004 has been rocked with first wave of exit polls which show Kerry competitive in key states, campaign and media sources tell DRUDGE.... National Election Pool -- representing six major news organization -- show Kerry in striking distance in Florida and Ohio.. MORE...

Even if I took any stock in these exit polls, I still wouldn't worry. People who work don't get off work until 5:00pm or so, and many of those people are Republicans.

A great majority of voters who are turning out heavy in the cities are those who are being bused in from the projects, or their homeless shelter, or people who are voting in place of dead people.

Have no fear!!

Posted by tbux at 02:23 PM | Comments (0)

Vote Early, Often.

Well, just kidding about the often thing. If you are dead, don't worry, some Democrat operative will pull the leaver for you.

But remember this when you vote. Terrorists want us dead. John Kerry seems bent on returning to the failed policies of the 1990s of bowing to international desires. Several times we had OBL in our sights, but due to wanting to look good in the world, and not upset terrorists like Yasser Arafat, Clinton failed to get him. terrorism.jpg

After the 1993 World trade center bombing we failed to effectively see that there was Jihad declared against us. The Democratic nominee, John Kerry, voted to slash the budgets for intelligence and our national defense.

In 2000 the U.S.S. Cole was bombed, but we failed to act. Again, it was the desire to be "respected in the world" that stopped us from acting.

That policy of internationalism promoted by Clinton and desired by John Kerry led to over 3,000 dead in New York, Washington D.C, and Pennsylvania. We cannot allow that to happen again. When it does, there will possibly be millions dead from a nuclear attack in our country.

President Bush's strongest trait as our leader is his emphasis on the war on terror. It is the strongest pillar in his campaign. This election has become a referendum on fighting terror and spreading democracy and freedom through the Middle East versus bowing at the alter of the corrupt, anti-semetic United Nations.

France, Germany, and Russia are the three countries that John Kerry seeks approval from before protecting freedom. These same countries voted against us in the security council meetings, protecting their illegal paybacks and contracts made with Iraq.

If George Bush loses this election. The terrorists will be smiling. They will see it as our voting down the principles of pre-emptive war and turning out back on our self-protection.

A Bush defeat, coming days after an Osama Bin Laden tape would empower him. It would make him a hero in the eyes of the world. He would be a living God. The mightly America is so frightened that merely a video tape from him would cause us to bow to his pressure. What kind of pressure can they put on us by another devestating attack?

You must vote, and vote for George Bush. This is the most important election in history. Your vote for President Bush is not only a vote for him, but a vote to continue the war on terror and the ultiimte victory for freedom and the United States.

Send the right message.

I saw FahrenHYPE 911 last night. It was good.

Ron silver said something very strong in it. He said the same people who are against the war now were the same types who didn't want to stop Hitler in 1938. In 1945 when we saw 8 million jews killed and a whole continent destroyed, they knew they were on the wrong side of history.

Though they didn't learn. They are on the wrong side of history, and if there is a nuke attack in New York, it will be 9 million dead, and they will be at fault.

They are trying to make the case that Terrorists want George Bush for recruiting.

A videotape made by al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden and aired in the Middle East on Friday was designed to help President Bush win re-election, Gov. Rendell said yesterday.

"It's obvious to me that bin Laden is trying to help George Bush, because George Bush is the best recruiter that al-Qaeda has," Rendell told Fox News Sunday.

I would be more critical of the Governor, but I'm afraid he'd send his henchmen to break my legs.
