I must be doing something right, because I got a piece of hate mail this morning. Apparently this November 2003 post pushed a few buttons.
I called a woman who killed her daughter who was raped and impregnated by her brothers evil. According to Islamic tradition the daughter didn't deserve to live because her honor was sulled. Read about the incident here
Here is the hate mail.
I was just scanning though this article and that was a picture with a title "Look into the face of evil." that said it all. It made me sick to my stomach that anyone with a website with the caption "Age of Reason" could make such hateful remarks about Islam and the people we follow it. I do not defend everything that occurs within the religion or the nations that practice it but I do think that it is unfair to judge an entire race or religion based on stories such as these. It makes me sick and in a worse way much more sad to see that anyone could be so mislead or ignorant.
So I'm the ignorant one, and not the lady who killed her daughter?
