Chili Warms your bones

I love Chili. Unfortunately I don't always have time to make it from scratch. I tried the Cambell's Chunky chili, which I thought tasted like socks soaked in oatmeal, so I was a little reluctant to try other canned or jarred chili.

I tried the Bush's homestyle chili, and I was surprised, It was excellent, and almost like homemade.

I have had the Cambell's Chunky Chili - the "FireHouse" flavor and while I did not find it offfensive, it was nothing to get excited about. Plud I find that if you add enough heat to it it become almost good.

i haven't tried the Bush's yet but next time I go to the store I'll have to pick some up.

Make sure you do, It's certainly not homemade, but it does taste pretty good for store bought, and can pass off for a good meal now and then.

Bush is good.

Right out of the jar it is better than the Cambell's with my best efforts at doctoring it. The biggest difference by far is the meat. There's better meat in Bush's.

(And I better stop before I go further in to the gutter!)

I like to keep something quick and easy on hand for that night when the kid's schedules don't leave time for dinner so we make it McDonalds night for them. Bush's chili will be a frequent choice for me. Thanks for the tip.
