The hit TV show 24, that airs on Fox, is stirring some debate because of the way it portrays Muslims. It portrays a family as a sleeper cell for Muslim terrorists.
From the Indy Star
The first new episode this season of Fox's "24" has yet to hit the screen and already the network has offended a Muslim group. After viewing a portion of the first episode included on a DVD in Entertainment Weekly, officials from the Council on American-Islamic Relations expressed dismay at the depiction of a Muslim family.
"At first I was shocked," organization spokeswoman Rabiah Ahmed told the New York Daily News. "In this particular case, they show an American-Muslim family and they portray them as terrorists."
She's shocked about the portrayal of a "sleeper cell" that happens to be a Muslim family. What about the shock of Muslim anti-Muslim defimation league types when 9/11 happened, or when Nick Berg had his head cut off?
We know for a fact that Al Quiada has sleeper cells, some are probably families. We live in a time of hightened awareness of Islamofascism, and as they say "Art imitates life".
I just want to know, why are they upset about fake terrorists, and not upset about the real terrorists?
