So there is this football coach, Gary Barnett. He coaches at the University of Colorado. He recently referred to a woman who tried out for the team as a "cunt". What an ass.
But wait, it gets worse.

The Associated Press referred to it Tuesday as a "vulgar anatomical reference." The Oxford English Dictionary defines it as "vulgar slang for a woman's genitals," and as "an unpleasant or stupid person." Its etymological origin is believed to be Germanic.
CU President Elizabeth Hoffman's reference to the word "cunt" as a "term of endearment" during questioning for a civil case against the university spawned the wrath of local women's advocates and prompted water-cooler discussions aplenty Tuesday.
So here is an well educated woman who has made a place for herself standing up for calling a woman a "cunt", presumably because the football team brings in so much money.
Now I don't think he should have been fired over this event, but the fact that a woman who I would assume would stand up for women's rights making excuses for saying derogatory things about a woman who not only tried out for the team, but accuses some male football players of sexually assaulting her.
This university president is a sell-out.
