Frank J. over at IMAO reminded me of something. I just received a check for 13.86 from the music CD settlement. Real money FREE!!
In case you don't know what this is about, it was a lawsuit brought by states Attorneys general because music companies were overcharging (no..really) customers on CDs. CDs are cheaper to make, but cost more than tapes which cost less.
Anyways, that's my settlement.
